Telnet or SSH to your unRAID machine, then run the installer.
Installer requires curl. Skip this step if you already have curl installed.
# Curl installer $ wget -qO- http://boxcar.nicinabox.com/install_curl | sh -
# Boxcar installer $ bash <(curl -s http://boxcar.nicinabox.com/install)
That's it! Once the installer completes, visit tower:3000 (or use your hostname or IP).
What gets installed?
In order to compile some software (Ruby, etc), we need to bring unRAID up to a higher baseline. The following are Slackware packages installed when you run the Boxcar installer. Other distros have something similar under a package like
build-essential. These packages will be installed in /boot/extra.
